Light and fresh, the wine shows white flesh stone fruit, apple, grapefruit and subtle spice notes on the nose, leading to a lively palate that is crisp and juicy. The wine is elegant and approachable with an intricate mouthfeel. 

About the wine:

This wine is a mixture of Grenache (34%), Cinsault (21%), Syrah (14%), Merlot (11%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (9%), with small amounts of Caladoc and Marsellan.

The Alpilles rose has a pale lychee blush of pink with some salmon reflections.
The complex aromas have notes of strawberry, cherry, yellow peach with a trace of mineral. These fruity notes are also at the fore on the palate, expressing themselves intensely and contributing to an impression of length. The finish is marked by a touch of freshness and a hint of mineral. This is a wine of character.

About Domaine Lagoy:

Close to Saint Rémy de Provence, within the Parc Régional des Alpilles, is the Lagoy estate which has been in the Meyran family since 1677. The 18 hectare vineyard was planted In 1976 on the "Petite Crau plateau" above the imposing Chateau de Lagoy.

The terroir is perfect for the creation of exceptional wines. Within the soil are pebbles from the Durance River that retain the warmth of the ample sunshine that the South of France basks in.

Since 2001, the domain has been following organic and biodynamic practises.
