About the Wine:
It was in the vineyards of Saint Mont that Beelzebub, the devil disguised as a winemaker, succumbed to temptation and stole bunches of Tannat, Pinenc and Cabernet Sauvignon. This mischievous, supple light blend displays aromas of redcurrant and raspberry, a devilish mouth and a tangy rich finish. Served chilled, this demonic rosé will make an irresistibly refreshing aperitif or a hellishly good accompaniment to a summer salad or fish a la plancha… Taste the forbidden fruit!
About the terroir:
Forty hectares are cultivated on clay-sandy loamy-clay soils.
Plots that are managed according to sustainable agricultural practices were selected in a cool situation (north / west exposure) to favour the aromatic expression of red grapes intended for the production of rosé wines. The blend of local grape varieties - Tannat, Pinenc and Cabernet Sauvignon - highlights the Pinenc, which brings the characteristic hint of vitality to Rose d'Enfer.
