Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
"The wine offers fragrant aromas of dark plum, cherry, stone fruit and apple characters with a hint of spicy note. The palate delivers juicy fruit intensity and supple mouthfeel, well supported by fine texture and bright acidity. Soft-toned and mellow with delightfully tasty flavours."

About the wine:

This is a single variety wine – Syrah – which is a bit unusual for French wine. The expression of the Hills makes sense inside the grape. This grain that we want fleshy, has fine and flamboyant skin, has pure and sweet flesh, hides in its bosom a seed. It is the maturity of this nugget that triggers the date of our harvest. Our audacity is to wait for the extreme to extract the best. We pick the grain at the moment when the seed in moment is "al dente" devoid of any bitterness. This level of need requires a knowledge and a great deal of risk that we have acquired over the generations.
This well-structured rosé will go with pretty much anything from entrée through to cheese.

About Collines du Bourdic

It all started in 1928 with a handful of winemakers from the villages of Arpaillargues-Aureilhac, Aubussargues, Bourdic and Garrigues-Sainte Eulalie who joined forces to build the Cooperative Cooperative Cellar of Bourdic in the South of France.

Les Collines du Bourdic is now in the form of a wine production company with its own board and farmers as shareholders. Bourdic is currently ranked among the top Southern French wine producers. This is confirmed by series of medals at national competitions such as Paris and the Vinalies and local competitions such as Languedoc-Roussillon, Var and Provence, and Gard.

Since the beginning of the adventure, priority has been given to the vineyard and winemaking production in which the cooperative invests regularly. Driven by both an entrepreneurial and an innovative spirit, over the generations the winemakers have developed widely recognized know-how. Often pioneers in the planting of new grape varieties, the cooperative cultivates a taste for risk and difference.
