"It is sweetly fragrant on the nose showing nectarine, lemon zest, raspberry and spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is beautifully rounded and supple. The wine offers elegant fruit intensity and silky texture, finishing persistent and mouth-watering. A lovely drink."

About the wine:
On the highest hills of Ayzieu, on the borders of Gascony, also known as "Little Tuscany" for its hilly and varied landscapes grow the vines of Domaine Laffitte. The terroir consists essentially of "wild sands" on the surface and "terrebouc" (small pieces of clay) lower down. These two very special elements give the wines minerality, freshness and power. The climate benefits from the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees. Rainy and mild winters pass quickly and are followed by long hot, dry summers providing for exceptional maturation potential marked by ripe fruits. This rose made from Cabernet Franc and Tannat grapes is a wine of pure pleasure. The bouquet brings red berries, currant and strawberry woods, and also notes of refreshing citrus fruit. The taste is elegantly dry, fresh and soft. The perfect rosé to drink as an aperitif, or during a light meal, it brings a ray of summer sunshine whatever the season.

About Domaine Laffitte:

Members of the Laffitte family have been cultivating the vineyards in this region of Gascogny since the Middle Ages. Traditionally passed down to one son each generation, now brothers Christophe and Sébastien Laffitte work together to carry the scepter in the family business, which has been distilling Armagnac for generations. They have now put the wine first, although there is still a small Armagnac production. They are committed to growing their vines in a traditional way in respect of their environment. They grow green manure crops every year to limit winter erosion and increase soil fertility. "All our work has one and only one goal - to produce the best grapes."
